Founded and led by interior designer Carolyn Rebuffel Flannery, Make It Home helps Bay Area families and individuals transitioning out of crisis. The organization recycles, repurposes, and curates gently-used, donated furnishings to transform empty spaces into homes.
Make it Home partners with local agencies who identify specific clients in need. Using quality donated furniture and household goods, a dynamic team of designers and volunteers put together welcoming home environments that are then delivered to those in need at their new homes.
Make it Home serves Marin, San Francisco, Alameda, Sonoma, Napa, Solano, and Contra Costa counties in the Bay Area. Their vision is to end furniture poverty and bring hope to families while being self-sustaining, creating jobs, and protecting the environment.
There are two upcoming spring 2023 events you can support!
The second annual Furnish Hope fundraiser on April 19, and the Spring Round-Up on April 27-28.
