Fall 2025

“Luxury cannot and must not be fast.”

-Giorgio Armani

History accrues in layers over time, and deepens the patina of materials. The Fall issue of Henry sheds a light on projects and products which exude this aura of heritage and character. Architects Butler Armsden and interior designer Jay Jeffers renew a Beaux-Arts landmark in Pacific Heights, bringing new lustre to brick and mortar. A new generation of designers draws William Morris into the future by building on unfinished designs. We also look at the radiant rusts and coppers of new fall fabrics; marble slabs and bronze fixtures of kitchen and bath; and of course, the best new collections of the fall season.  We hope you will bask a bit in the glow of what requires eras to evolve–the quality that Ruskin called “The golden stain of time.”
